I need some input

Ok i finally got my car back from the shop (After 3 weeks) and going to be putting so mods in to it. It is a 98 GS-T. OK here the mods MBC, Boost gauge and air to fuel gauge, 3in turbo back exhaust (2.5-3" RRE Downpipe
Apexi N1 3" catback) These aren't real big mods..But here is my questions.
When i put my exhaust on will it get rid of the O2 sensor? If so will it throw a code to the check engine light? Because I know the downpipe will replace the cat. Then the other is if i put the MBC will this also throw a code too? Ok thanks Guys..
Also does anyone know where to get some tubing for the boost gauge to run?And where to find a T fitting? One last thing is there anyone here who can port a O2 housing for pretty cheap?
thanks i know this is alot but any input will help alot!

Re: I need some input

A MBC will not cause a CEL. Putting on your exhaust and eliminating your cat will cause a CEL.

Porting, i was looking too, i saw that JET does it so i will probably use him.
Boost gauge stuff from any hardware store, i changed to silicone hose instead of that shitty nylon crap. I'm doing the same stuff too this week!

JET is a good guy, he'll give you a fair price on whatever you need. The Autometer nylon tubing is actually good to use. It won't buldge/collapse like rubber and silicone can giving you more accurate and quicker response.

Re: I need some input

I guess when I put my boost guages in I always used copper tubing. That nylon stuff kinks and breaks too easily (especially if it's moved around while it's cold). As long as you do it right, you won't get any kinks in the lines and is WAY more accurate than any hose. Nylon tubing is about as accurate as the copper tubing though. Never had any leak issues with it either.

Re: I need some input

Napa sells a tubing kit. Otherwise you can get it from the hardware store. But you would need to get the compression fittings as well. They come in the kit from Napa. The hardware store you'd have to get it separate. 1/8" copper tubing and I can't remember the wall thickness.

Some don't like using it, but I never had a problem with mine. If I wasn't busy this weekend, I'd come up and help out.
