Was wondering if anybody knew where I could find a schematic for an obd1 laptop logger cable? Or anyone that might sell them reasonable. I thought i found a site the other day, but of course i can't find it now.

He plans on using a laptop and he already has TMO software. Just needs a cable. Why not be a cheap ass? The logger cable is really only 2 wires wired to a serial connector. If I didn't have one, I would make one.

It isn't only 2 wires to a serial connector, there are is circuity in there. If he has the TMO software, he should have gotten a cable with it.

i have the tunerstein software which is FREE and i would rather make a cable than buy one. still have lots of other parts to buy.

My cable is 3 pins on one side (one split into 2) and two wires running up to the serial cable. I dont see any other components to it. Seems easy to make. Maybe, this winter, I will try to make them. BTW, I bought my cable off of ebay.
