Antenna removal

How do you remove the antenna? I tried removing it but it just won't budge. Is there a certain way of removing it?

Re: Antenna removal

On the outside there is a chrome ring with 2 slots in it, you need to turn that and take it off.

4 1/2" angle grinder works like a champ!

Or you can do like he said and put a screwdriver in one of the slots and tap it until it turns off.

Re: Antenna removal

If you're not re-using it, a pair of vice grips works nicely as well.
