Aem Ems

What is the difference between the "regular" EMS and the one with the ugeo plug in? What does that do for you. I purchased ANOTHER AEM EMS and it comes with that option. Would I benifit from that?(Assuming I have an AEM wideband)

Re: Aem Ems

I believe it allows for the UEGO Guage to plug into it and be able to directly read from the Wideband. I may be wrong but i know that the UEGO EMS is sometimes sold with the Wideband as an option.

Re: Aem Ems

There is the car specific EMS box and then they have a universial unit that has 1 or 2 uego's built in, "race" only and a custom wiring harness is normaly needed to make that work.

Re: Aem Ems

"what youre looking at is a aem plug and play out of a 98 fwd eclipse item is use but works perfectly it has the aem eugo sensor box that goes with it,it also has the aem air flow sensor that goes with so no need for factory maf it retails for almost 2000.00.you will have to get youre own software or if you have a tuning shop close they should have it.comes with cables.thanks for looking. serial # 1310-0151.should work on all obd 2 eclipses with turbo motor "

Looks as tho its a Eclipse specific EMS with a uego "box". Does he mean its built in?

Re: Aem Ems

Sounds to me like the seller doesn't even know what he has.

Re: Aem Ems

The dsm boxes are not available with UEGO built in (up until my latest list, but that is a month old), the Evo's are though.
The UEGO is really just a wideband built-in to the box.

Re: Aem Ems

The UEGO is a built in wideband controller. The UEGO versions have a U on the end of the part number like 30-1310U.
