I would do a lot of checking around. You don't want to be a beta tester for a small ECU company. The price is cheap and seems to have most of the functions of DSMlink.

If it was significantly less than DSMlink I would say give it a try, but since its the same price definately go with the proven route.

I agree with the above, there is no reason to reinvent the wheel.
