2g Swap Electrical?

So what do you do with the MDPE sensor off of the 2g intake when swaping to the 1g intake? Also there is an extra little place to plug in a wire plug in the 1g thermostat area then there is on the 2g area so do you just leave that alone with no hook up? Sorry for not being so specific.

I believe you can just send a vaccum source to that with a hose, or drill/tap your 1G manifold for it?

Re: 2g Swap Electrical?

I was told that you can just unplug it. Is this right?? And for the extra plug on the 1g thermostat area, can i just leave it since the 2g has no plug to plug into is and all of the other plugs are occupied?

Re: 2g Swap Electrical?

Leave that thing on the 1g tstat housing unpluged. Also go on tuners and get a MDP sensor relocator thingy. And plug it into the P terminal on the 1G throttle body. (http://www.dsmtuners.com/classifieds...ct=47174&cat=7)

Re: 2g Swap Electrical?

Leaving the MDP sensor unpluged will throw a check engine light.
