How much boost? Is it tuned? What did it make on the dyno?

Re: sbr 50

Shane at db figured 28 punds of boost on race fuel would work well on this setup he will be tuneing it in the spring. have not dynoed yet.

Re: sbr 50

Well are you trying to be able to do an 11.5 on race gas or pump gas? You should be able to get into the 11s with race gas, not sure about pump. Do you have after market rods in there too or just pistons?

Anyways, a lot has to do with who is behind the wheel too...

Add some hks 272's to that and you'll be golden. Should make good power as long as you can run a decent amount of boost. Should hit your 11.5 goal if you can drive!

I'm assuming they are the big rods, so yea they should be just fine with race gas and 28lbs. Its just that most people don't tune only for race gas... Usually have an e85 or a 92 octane tune as well.

This is a little off topic but what is the price of race gas these days? And what is the closest place to get it from the cities? Never looked into this much, but hell my car gets 27+ miles to the gallon and that is with me gettin on it hard atleast once a day. So if it is only 50 cents more a gallon and no longer than a half hour drive, I might try and go race gas only this summer.

Re: sbr 50

I run in fargo and there race gas 3 miles from track will have a 92 tune also but race fuel and probally meth injection at the track. Also thinking about a 50shot of nitrious, any input on nitrious would be nice.

I guess I can't really tell you anything about Nitrious, but me personally I wouldn't ever run Nitrious...

Boost only for me.

It will come down to driving and if your tranny will cooperates. Cams would help your power a decent amount. After that a sheetmetal intake manifold.
