Bad Smelling ECU

Hey guys, I just bought an EPROM ECU off ebay. I threw it in the car and went out for a ride... Damn thing smells like something crawled in it and died when it's on! So I opened it up to see if I could find what the hell was wrong with it. Then I remember I have no experience with electronics. Could that smell have been acid killing the board? From what I can see, everything looks cope except one part between one of the caps and one of the chips (not the eprom the big black one above it.) This part looks like the board is almost cracking because it has white lines running through it. I took a pic, sorry if it's hard to make out.

Re: Bad Smelling ECU

Took another pic, the first (outer) yellow ring I circled is where the cracking-like stuff is. The second (inner) yellow ring is where I just noticed that where it connects to the board has this green crap on it. Will this be repairable?

Re: Bad Smelling ECU

ECU caps leaking. That is a common problem on 1G DSMs.
