blackrosenova knows!

This guy came all the way up from belle plain to take apart my tranny and check the condition. Then, he hung out for another 3 hours troubleshooting one of my cars with me. Awesome guy. Really knows a ton about these cars. Thanks again man!

He should know a bunch about trannies, he only blows one up every other month! Haha, yea he seems to know his stuff, talked to him for a while when I was selling my trans.

mr. 400 my tranny shifts real hard at high RPMS, do u have any good idea to why?

97 and i had syncroshift in it at the time

The higher the engine speed, the more your transmission syncros have to brake in order for the gears to synchronize or engage the same speed. Different fluids have different friction modifiers to allow the sycros to have more friction, thus allowing the gears to slow down faster.

How hIgh of rpm are we talking here?

well my hole clutch systems new and it does grind a bit in 3rd but thats known syncro and i have tried to adjust the shit under the dash

put redline light weight shock proof in your transmission and nothing else. shep recommends it. It is a bit spendy but it does work very well.
