Re: Replacing gaskets

Definitely a good idea unless you want a boost leak.
Sometimes I've reused the two on the throttle body if they are relatively new, or use a bit of RTV on them. I'd replace the intake mani to head gasket though, or get a plastic re-usable one from Magnus or whoever makes them.

Re: Replacing gaskets

I typically always replace any gaskets that could potentially cause a boost leak. Hense the reason I went to the NT Throttle Body. 1 Less gasket to keep replacing.

Re: Replacing gaskets

I have a white plastic one now, would that be the reuseable one? I bought the car with a SMIM

Re: Replacing gaskets

If its one of those thicker plastic ones I would say it is probably reusable but don't take my word for it. I think those Hondata heat shield gaskets are like 3/16" or so thick and they are blue color. I have seen pictures of white color Ebay knockoffs melting, so I'd make sure it wasn't one of those before I took anything apart.
