Radiator Swap

Ok, first few rounds of questions i'll post this, this is not my car i'm working on, but my DSM knowledge is fairly deep.

1992 AWD GSX with LSD and ABS 6/4 combo with a 5 speed. 2.5 turbo back Custom Exauhst with Boost controler. Other then that, stock.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Questiong being, i have a 1.8l eclipse sitting @ a buddies house with a BRAND NEW RADIATOR!. So, that being said, the radiator on the 2.0 is shot, and needs to be replaced. So, my question is, does the 1.8 radiator fit//work for the 2.0?

The car overheats like there's no tomorow and the bottom half of the radiator has NO fins on it. It's sad really, i'll try and get a picture of it.

The hoses look like they are in similar positions, and the pipes are flexable and it could be bent to fit in. Now, my question, does the radiator FIT in the same bolts? I'd like to know before i have to drain the fluid out of both, and swap the radiators.

Also, what does everyone else do with their fluid?

Re: Radiator Swap

No ideas? I've heard, and know, that the 1.8 and the 2.0 body are the same. Meaning the body//frame is the same, and so should the front radiator mounts. Someone said they should fit up, but the pipes may be different shapes//sizes.

Would it kill the car to run slightly smaller hoses if it has all the fins, or on the stock radiator that has NO fins on the bottom half.
