"Here's another lil set of switches that I really like. It saves the trouble of having to drill all those holes and hook up all those wires. It's connected to a box that's actually inside my console, and it has little spots for you to connect the power and ground wires for 4 different things... neat huh. I have my wiper lights, my underbodies, and my lights in my doors hooked up to this set of switches."


- Where can I find these... I found it on some chicks cardomain site.

They're called membrane keypads,universal ones are available from Digi-Key, Jameco, etc.I've never seen one specifically for auto applications, but the universal ones have legend sets(numbers and letters) that allow you to customize the keys.Downsides are, the outputs are usually multiplexed, and the switch contacts can only handle very low currents(less than 100 mA).So you'll need at least transistors and possibly a demultiplexer(depending on number of buttons).If you get a universal one, I can show you how to make it work if needed.
