No and No. There is no benefit selling to DSMers. Thats why vendors walk away from us and why there are no more FRH left but these. I'm just trying to help people out. It's not that I need the money! But people just want to lowball me and I won't under value what I have or take a loss on what I spent like I was considering. So the price went back to what it was.

Tell that to the shop empires that were founded with DSMer's. $$$

Just found it strange you had multiple brand new manifolds....

Re: Brand new revised Forrester Intake Manifold's

I find it stranger that he posts a price of 420, and I tell him I want one then he says they're 450 cause shipping costs went up (yeah, shipping went up $30, OK), then posts again saying they're 410. I did want to buy one or maybe even two, but it just seems more than a bit fishy.

there is nothing fishy. they should go for $500. you either are interested in one or you arent. check tuners. dsm source etc. my ratings are all positive

The price is either one thing or it's another.

I guarantee you I WAS going to buy one until I got jacked around. They look really nice and the price seems reasonable.

But they aren't going for $500 if they are not gone yet at 450, 435, 420, well actually 450, now 410, well you guys are being dumb so it's 450 again & I'm erasing the evidence of ever having said 410.

no one is being jacked around. if you are interested thats cool. if not thats cool to. Soon they'll be gone. Then you can go pay $550 for a jmf race or street which it will outperform or pay $800 for jmf drag which wont make that much more power up top and will make less power everywhere else, or pay $600-1K for a Magnus. Either way someone will buy from me, save money, and get great performance. This is the best bang for your buck. I offer a great deal and people still want them for even less . I cant make everyone happy. I don't know what else to say or how to come any realer!

Re: Brand new revised Forrester Intake Manifold's

Then why does the price go up and down faster than the pistons in an engine running at 8 grand? If you wanted to sell them and were honest you would've sold me one before when I PMed you instead of making up a different price than you posted here. Post the real price or lets get rid of this thread. I do want one, but I guess I'll have to keep looking cause I won't deal with BS.

If you don't need the money, and you are trying to help people out, you should sell one manifold to jrohner at your lowest stated price. Take a small hit in the wallet, but save some reputation.

If you actually want to sell them, come to the cookout @ the end of this month and bring them with, I don't see why they wouldn't sell if they look 1/2 as good as they do in pics.

I don't need the money. The reputation is from the performance. Which is proven! But what I am really beginning to notice is that DSMers pray on people who are desperate and lowball them beacuse they know or think that person needs their money. Most but not all of the time it's not even that they don't have the money. What kind of community is that? I am taking a hit. For me to profit I should sell them at $500+. And for someone on this Forum to say to me If I don't sell them a manifold they'll go buy a JMF drag. Lets gets this straight. So i ask $450 and you want to lowball me and ask $370 shipped and if i don't sell it to you.... you'll go spend $600. Really? i did help people out. But that did it for me and most people come at me like that!

if the price is cheap now and i'm being lowballed now. driving a few hours and coming out of my pocket and my time is going to make a difference? Why so it can save one person the $50 shipping and paypal fees that it cost me? So you save $50 and I spend $50+ to get to you. The $450 cost is not the problem. They don't sell cause DSMers don't value parts and that's why the vendors cater to the evo and abandon us.

I bet a lacroix manifold is better than these anyways.

I don't even know what that is. Can you even afford a lacroix manifold? Im not saying it will make the most hp but it is the best manifold if you have are a street/strip car. Will a $1000 or $1400+hp drag manifold made specifically for topend make more power. Probably. But they will also make way way less low and mid range power than you will gain up top. And most wont see real gains under 800+whp.Example DV/DT Fabrications manifold which has a pretty good design but on topend boost the Forrester put out 757 awhp and the DV/DT put out 769.98 awhp. Yes it made more up top but it made significantly less mid and lowend power and the FRH gave a better powerband.

Re: Brand new revised Forrester Intake Manifold's

How can wanting to buy one of these at the stated price be considered low balling you? If you stated they were $410 and he wanted to buy one at that, but then you said $450, how is that low balling? I will vouch they are good manifolds, one of my favorite designs. No way I am vouching for the seller though.
