We really need to work on your definition of "Cool", you seem to have confused it with the term Rice.

Re: somthing cool for the 1ga !!! HID conversion kit
I'm not interested in the colored angel eyes, but that is not bad. I'm gonna consider a set with some HID's for the 1g.

Projectors on a flip up headlights looks lame in my opinion. Ebay has so many for MR2's and I would never buy a set for mine.

Re: somthing cool for the 1ga !!! HID conversion kit
I haven't really looked around, but I can't see shit with the stock flip up's..
By going to HID's and projectors on it would bring a whole new sensation of actually seeing something at night.

Seeing at night is overrated.

What is the difference between Normal HIDs and Projector HIDs. I have HIDs in my 1g, but stock headlamps. Never really had projectors (always thought they looked stupid on our cars, no offence to anyone that has them, but your shit looks stupid. LOL jk)

Re: somthing cool for the 1ga !!! HID conversion kit
was thinking about some 8k hid'z for my talon nothing ridiculously expensive. i would of liked 15k Hid fog lights since my 1G body is purple but idk. So talk to primo performance will do.

As far as "brightness" is concerned, somewhere in the 4300-4800k is the best for the amount of light being produced. The higher K numbers just adds color to the "look" but is not as bright.
HID's can be had for very cheap these days(quality varies), so finding them should not be an issue.

Re: somthing cool for the 1ga !!! HID conversion kit
8K is stupid IMO. You will be asking for police attention because your beam will be so blue it will scream 'look at me'.
I have 4300's on the Envoy, and 5000's on my Saab. I will never run anything more blue than 5k personally.
As for the headlights themselves, they don't look too bad I think if they have real projectors inside there (as long as you don't hook up the ghey halo's).

maybe the housing but not the whole thing. looks like it'd be cool for my fog lights.

If you've ever been in a car with hid projector, you'll notice how it shoots out wider to the side and further straight. Projectors also gives out a cut out point.
HID halogen
Projector HID
If you want one of the best projectors out there, Acura TSX, TL, or Honda S2000 has the best sets out there.

Re: somthing cool for the 1ga !!! HID conversion kit
Most (but not all) factory HID setups come with projectors. I run mine (6k from Primo Performance) with the factory 2g headlights. I think they are a huge improvement over stock, even though I know that it would be even better with a proper projector setup. Then again, I was thinking about getting 40k HIDs for my low beams and 200k for my foglights. Bigger is better right?

Thanks Boosted, that cleared things up a lot.
