FIC 2150 inectors & PNP adapters WTF?

Hi Guys,

Earlier this summer I purchased a set of FIC2150s from MAPerformance. I am at the final stages of making my car run and in the process of finishing the whole wiring. I got to installing the FIC injectors and the Plug-n-Play adapters that MAP sent me and for the life of me I simply cannot figure out how they go together. The fukers simply do not fit in each other. This is a 1G DSM by the way. I snapped a couple of pictures:

Did I they sent me the wrong adapters or am I entirely too stupid to figure out how they go together?

Thanks,

--Vassil

Give them a call, probably your best bet.

That is straight up the wrong clip. What you have there is a new style Nippon Denso connector on the injector, and a Bosch EV6 style clip on the harness. You're not losing it, they just will not fit together.

Re: FIC 2150 inectors & PNP adapters WTF?

Just checked your invoice sir, it appears we sent you the adapters for the Evo X (PADPUtoD4) rather than the Evo 8/9 (PADPDtoJ4), FIC made these pretty confusing earlier in the year when everything was just being released We can most certainly get you set up with the correct adapters, would you prefer to swing by to do the exchange or have them shipped? Let me know via email please!

^customer service right there!

I heard a few other people have this issue when they were first released too. Silly but what can you do, new technology. These things are legit though, let us know how you like them!

Spoke with Nate, sent him the old ones and hopefully will have the new ones come in soon. I will keep everyone posted on how those injectors do on the car.
