My financial situation is tighter than I'm comfortable with and I need to get rid of some stuff in order to fix it. This includes this car, since I have a truck that is perfectly capable of getting me from A to B.
1990 Eagle Talon TSi AWD. 145K on car. 5sp, silver/black with grey cloth interior. All stock other than a K&N filter, MBC, Accel 8mm wires, CD player + speakers. Tinted tails, rear side markers, front running lights/blinker assembly, reverse lights. Autometer boost gauge (works), autometer narrow a/f (unhooked) on an A-pillar 2 gauge pod.
Good:
- Nearly rust free (starting to bubble on
underside of fenders)
- Always starts
- Engine runs good
- Straight + Balanced 2Ga talon wheels with NEW Fuzion HRi tires on all 4 corners. By new, I mean less than 100 miles.
- Has NOT been modded
Bad:
- Infamous 2nd gear grind
- No driver window motor
- Front wheel bearings bad
**- Front Pass Axle bad
- Clutch going out (still driveable)
- Leaks oil - I know one of the leaks is cooler lines (gaskets at housing) but the front case might be leaking too.
- Struts all torn open; bouncy
- CD player only gets 1 radio station (kinda a shitty deck).
- Crack in exhaust housing of stock turbo.
**- Blower motor doesn't work
- Crack in windshield, does NOT impair vision though
- Dent on rear driver quarter panel
- Pass door handle broken

Now here's where it gets complicated. Sale of car depends on how fast you want it compared to what all you need replaced. I *plan* on replacing the axle and fixing the blower motor, but I honestly cannot give an ETA on when it will happen. I don't have my tools where I live and no garage to work on this thing. Living in an apartment sucks.
Looking for
$2000 with blower motor and axle fixed. Otherwise, $1800 as it sits.
