Anyone do retro fitting on headlamps?

I was wondering anyone on the boards can retro fit projectors into the 2g headlights.

There are aftermarket projectors you can buy. I'd just get those and paint the housing black.

I think what he means is putting projectors in from alike an audi or BMW with HIDs.

Yes that is what i meant. I am basically asking if anyone on the board can put projectors from a bmw audi or acura into the 2gb headlamps. The bad thing about just throwing an hid kit is that the stock projector isnt made for the blub so it will blast it into people's eye level and blind them.

They make HID retrofit bulbs that go into stock housings, no need to make a custom housing for it. Do a quick google on it, I haven't seen them since the whole blue bulb craze about five years ago.

The problem with that is the housings were made for halogen bulbs and not HIDs. Without projectors or housings made for HIDs there is no cutoff and the light will go everywhere, blinding oncoming traffic.
