Ralliart Fog question

Hello.

I have a 11 Ralliart, and I'm wondering if it's possible to run my parking lights with my fog lights, and no headlights?

Any ideas or DIY sheets?

Thank you,

Matt

Re: Ralliart Fog question

While I understand that. The parking lights arn't bright enough to run alone. That's why I'd like to run the parking lights w fogs. Otherwise, I'm going to add some additional lights.

Help if you can!

Thank you,

Matt

Re: Ralliart Fog question

Nothing. I just really like the look of parking lights and fogs. IDK, maybe it's just me. If anyone here knows, please let me know!

Thanks,

Matt

for driving? not sure, but isnt that illegal to drive like that? May at least attract unnecessary attention.

Re: Ralliart Fog question

It's illegal at night since foglights don't qualify as headlights.

I'd also be running this setup during the day in the winter time.

Re: Ralliart Fog question

Some playing around with a test light/multimeter on the tail lamp relay and fog light relay you could prolly figure it out like how they do it with 2g's

Re: Ralliart Fog question

Wire in another relay that is switched by the parking lights to feed the fog lights.

Re: Ralliart Fog question

Or the much easier option is if the fog light relay only sees power when the headlight relay is on you can run a jumper wire with an inline fuse from the tail lamp/parking light relay to the fog light relay to feed it power when the parking lamps are turned on.

That sounds great, anyone have instructions for this or feels like doing this together?

Re: Ralliart Fog question

How much more instruction do you need? It was explained pretty well either way. Not something that's to difficult

Re: Ralliart Fog question

This is just an example of how they do it in 2g dsm's http://www.vfaq.com/mods/2G_foglights.html and I'm not the most familiar with the evox/ralliart but like I said playing around with the test light/multimeter you could probably figure something out.
