I also don't want something real loud any more, I am hoping that along with dynomat'ing the whole car will do the trick.
Let me know how that turns out sounds wise. Because even if I build a new 3" system, I'll still have the 3.5" around in case I want to mod it and put it back on.

I'm betting quiet(relatively of course) power will be a new trend. I actually have a couple muffler designs I think would both flow well and deaden sound well at the same time.

Re: Quiet High Flow Mufflers?

i had a electric cut out on my talon with stock exhaust(3inch downpipe) all i had to do was flip a switch and it was open downpipe, and flip it again and it was hushed right up i loved it.. i know someone suggested it already and you weren't to keen on the idea but it works well and really probably the best way you can have your horse power and not hear it =) they also have boost regulated cut outs and the mufflers map sells now i think chris has one on his evo? http://xforce.com.au/about-varex-rem...ts-muffler.php

Re: Quiet High Flow Mufflers?

If anyone who browses other dsm forums sees any good 3" exhaust systems for sale, please let me know.
