Bearing problem

ok so i just got my car out of the shop and i drive three miles and hear a loud rodnock so i tore down my motor and its my fourth cylendars rodbearing the others are ok any thing it could be? its a 95 eclipse gst

rodbearing cap not tourqued right, rodbearing clearance didnt meet specs, shit like that will happen and it can be a number of things

its almost like the center of the bearing is mushroomed out compared to the sides

Did the shop rebuild your motor? If so bring that shit back. They fucked up.

i brought it back and they said they couldnt warrenty my shit cuz they didnt sell me the parts

Well if they assembled it they should still take some liability. They should have checked clearances during assembly.

im pretty sure its all shot now so im gonna rebuild the block i got now or do u think i should go a diff direction? i got an evo III and a fmic and i do plan on boosting more than the stock boost
