big brakes, 92.5+

I got a 90' Tsi AWD, and was wondering whos done the bigger brakes on their car, and what all needs to be gotten for parts, I would assume new calipers and rotors, but do I need an adapter plate to make the caliper fit, or have to switch over the whole hub or somthin? Is it just the fronts, or all 4 corners?
