2g mas/maf question

Hey all, I had a question about the 2g mas. I have a non working 2g mas and wanted to get a working one. A friend of mine has one he wants to sell but I compared the 2 and his 2g mas is smaller than mine.

Both of the 2g mas are 609 e5t06071. They both have the same size ends, honey combs, etc. Just the tops are different in size.

Any ideas if there is a difference? I"ve tried searching on the web for info but have not had any luck.

Oh, and he also said that the mas from the Diamante (part # 055) are the same as the 609. Is there truth to this?

Re: 2g mas/maf question

All the 609 mas are the same regardless of the small size difference. It was probably just pulled of a different year/model vehicle since they came in the eclipses and monteros. The 055 mas is identical to the 609 mas as well.
