Check the voltage at the battery. With the car off the voltage should be around 12.6v. With the car running the voltage should be 13v+.my car usually charges between 13.4v and 14v. Sounds like it could be a dead or dying alternator.

Re: all exterior light out

Do your interior HVAC lights still work? I had a similar experience in my old 2G when my dimmer switch failed internally. All my exterior lights died, and my interior back lighting for HVAC and what not went out too. Maybe you can try borrowing a dimmer switch from a friend? I also assume you already checked for any blown fuses correct?

Re: all exterior light out

As your battery drains the systems that require more amperage to run will quit working first so for example your headlights might not work but your radio might.

I would just double check and verify your charging system is functioning properly. Check all fuses, check dimmer switch too like Halon recommended and go from there

Are any of your exterior light wires soldered together? Do you know of any other non-factory splices on the car?

Re: all exterior light out

Re-solder any of the bad connections, then tape them up real tight with good electrical tape.
