Seat belt light

I removed my stock seats and put my corbeaus in, and my seatbelt light just stays on now because there is no electrical connection to my new seat. If i just cut off the connector comming from the car and cross the wires, will that fix the problem? I figure it could be like a complete the circuit kind of thing.

Re: Seat belt light

I would say just pull the bulb out of the cluster. Then if you ever decide to put the original seats and belts back in, you can and then just throw the bulb in.

Re: Seat belt light

When I put in my new seats I used the entire seat belt buckle and the electrical connector off the original seats, so functionality is the same. But yea I believe just connecting the wires should do the trick.
