How big of a drop, 2G
Ok I wanna lower the car with new suspension all around. I wanna know whats the biggest drop I can do without needing new rear camber adjustment arms?
Thanks
Alex

Drop it likes it hot!!
I believe any drop will require a camber kit if you wanted it perfect, but I think a 1.3" drop like with Pro-kits is a low as you can get before you SHOULD get a camber kit, but every car seems to be different.
Good luck.

Re: How big of a drop, 2G
Fixing the rear camber in a 2g is almost free, just 8 longer bolts and washers, probably $15 in hardware.

x2. My car isn't crazy, crazy low but feel like its kind of low for a 2g and with a couple washer and longer bolts the alignment shop said it was inspec.

Re: How big of a drop, 2G
I liked my 2" drop on my 2G. But 2" was more than the stock adjustments could correct for. So like mentioned above, I did the $15 rear camber kit and all was good.

Re: How big of a drop, 2G
I had problems re-adjusting the rear toe in mine back when it was slammed. The stock eccentrics did not adjust far enough so I replaced them with some turnbuckles that I made.
Just keep it in mind as far as how low you go, I ran out at 2 inches of drop

Re: How big of a drop, 2G
^^^ What suspension setup did you go with? Springs and shocks? With 2" of drop, I'd assume the factory shocks will be bouncy.

The washers will go plenty far to correct the camber. Im talking about the rear toe alignment, it will change so the tires will no longer be pointed striaght forward. They will both be pointing outward until you get an alignment. The alignment shop may find that you do not have enough adjustment to correct it with the stock eccentrics.

Re: How big of a drop, 2G
I wouldn't use any ebay suspension parts on any car. Spend the money on good suspension components your car and your pocket book will thank you later. Just my .02.
