Re: Ground Control coil overs...

I'd skip the Tokico's. When I spoke with the person at Ground Control about doing my car they were telling me that those shocks (on a 2g t/e) top out at about 325-375 spring rates. The stock springs are only roughly 245front and 150rear. H&R race springs are 430 front and 260 rear which means your front shocks will be over run on the Tokicos. They ride decent but not great for a performance aspect.

I'd go KONI or Bilstien. Good luck.

Re: Ground Control coil overs...

I have the Tokico Illumina's with the matching Tokico springs on both my GSX and my Mustang. Only complaint I have is the rear on my mustang is still pretty high. However, I would buy the matched set again any day. They work quite well together.

Re: Ground Control coil overs...

I agree with either Eibach or Swift springs. I love my Swift Spec-R springs but they are a little harsh for the typical person, but I have heard the regular Swifts and the Eibachs are pretty comparable. Both are progressive rate springs, so they ride nice but will show their sportiness when you push the car in a turn.
