Arrow 3.5 gm maf sensor t-bolt size

Long story short, the screen on my 3" maf sensor was damaged by my uicp so I ordered a new used maf sensor from dsmtrader.com. The person who I bought it from informed me that it was a 3" maf sensor, same as the one I have on my car right now. I finally got it and notice it was a bigger size, 3.5" maf sensor to be exact.

What I need to know now is the t-bolt size to fit onto this 3.5" maf sensor. I've been playing mix and match with Napa like crazy lately trying to find the right size. The size that it finally came down to be is for the Minimum of 3 7/16 and Max of 3 3/4 size for a t-bolt clamp that I need.

Would that be the correct size for my 3.5" maf sensor to be tighten up properly with my coupler on there without blowing off? Is there a good cheap vendor I can order this from online or local shops? My local Napa didn't have them in stock and I would have to order 5 of them for some reason to get them.

PM some of the vendors on here. They might stock it or be able to get one for you! Have you try using the Ideal(sp) hose clamps?

Well, I went and found a link to the t-bolt clamp on their website but it would have to be ordered from my local NAPA and again, I would have to order a pack of 5 for some reason. Here's a link to give you a visual look.

I always order from siliconeintakes.com I know LSE carries some T-bolts, but I don't know what sizes.

If you order online get one that says 3.75".

Wouldn't the 3.25" on siliconeintakes.com be the right size instead of the 3.75" so that it'll tighten it really good onto the 3.5" maf sensor?

Re: 3.5 gm maf sensor t-bolt size

No, the clamps are sized to fit the stated size of tubing, which is internal. If something is listed at say 2.5" that is the internal measurement. The actual outside will be larger, perhaps 2.75". The site explains the actual clamping size VS the stated size.

Assuming the 3.5" MAF is like the 3" it is a little larger than stated, probably closer to 3.75" which will give you an outside area closer to 4". The 3.75" is just the right clamping size for that.

Also, if you have a clamp even a little too small for the job it may be great when tightened, but will be incredibly difficult to get on in the first place.
