My cousin called me and says his 92 1.8l non-turbo has no spark... Does anyone know if there is a common fault for this?? He came to me and I really don't know much about these cars and he lives kinda far away to go out and diagnose it for him. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Probably the ignitor. I can't remember if the 1.8 has a distributor or electronic ignition.
