Fuel Pump Upgrade Question
So I'm going to be upgrading my fuel pump soon and would like some opinions on which to go with. I was initially just going to throw a 255 pump in, but now I'm seeing DW has their DW300 pump and Aeromotive has their 340 Stealth pump also. Right now, I would just be using it with gas and running around 20psi on the e16g turbo, but eventually want to run e85 in the future so I'd like a pump that can handle that as well. Anyone have experience with any of these new pumps? I'm wanting a drop-in pump instead of an in line setup so I'd like one of these I listed.
Thanks!

Re: Fuel Pump Upgrade Question
My DW300 has been great, no issues logged over 55lb/min with it on E85.

Did it install just like a walbro pump?

Re: Fuel Pump Upgrade Question
^Yep.
IIRC it might be physically smaller which is nice, not as loud either. Still have fuel left in it to turn up the boost. I think it's done 500-550whp on a dynojet on E85 before.

From what I've read, these pumps really like higher voltage so a BAP can probably up that a bit too on ethanol. I'm leaning towards trying out the DW300 I think. Thanks!

Re: Fuel Pump Upgrade Question
Good thinking I could try a bap before I jump to a 450.

Re: Fuel Pump Upgrade Question
255 will handle all you'll ever throw at that 16g

Re: Fuel Pump Upgrade Question
I went with the DW300, wanted to try something new since I've had walbros wear out quickly in the past. Also a fuel lab fpr kit to go with it. I noticed I'm leaning out up top, stock pump, fpr, and evo injectors can't keep up.

Re: Fuel Pump Upgrade Question
I hope it's just the pump not keeping up, I'm not 100% but I feel like 560s should be fine on pump.

Car has 167k miles on it, no idea if pump has ever been changed in the past. Will swap out and see if it fixes it once it comes.

Re: Fuel Pump Upgrade Question
Stock pump and stock wiring to fuel pump won't go very far. Upgrading those should give a lot more fuel.

Re: Fuel Pump Upgrade Question
DW would be my choice. I had Whinebro failures on both my Evos.
