hey guys i was trying to adjust my timing since it didnt look right and now its completely shit, if i push the CAS all the way C-C-W i can only get 10 degrees btdc. what the hell is going on. i am gounding the little clip next tothe battery to. i have a 2g maf hooked up right now. and an unorthodox crank pulley

Timing belt a tooth off?

UR Crank Pulley not aligned correctly? They often have slotted holes.

Does grounding the clip do anything at all? Is your logger unplugged? On some cars, like Mara's, I can't get the ground to ever work and have to adjust timing by syncing the logger output with the timing light.

I'm pretty sure you need to make sure your logger cable is disconnected. Having both the connector at the battery shorted and the one on the diagnostic port is telling the ecu you're trying to adjust the idle. If that's not your case I don't know what's wrong....

i figured it out. my manual did not tell me that there is a difference on timing between grounded and ungrounded status.

does anyone have the issue of their car knocking between 1-2K when driving under normal?
