Thanks Shane

Well at PG2 I got 4 passes and car went its best of 9.94@148 and it seemed lazy in the lower gears so I needed to change some stuff. Shane and I had some ideas and it deffently worked!

Did an alignment now the car goes straight now!

Got a new pte 67mm with the proper exhaust housing and boom.....

More power
Less boost
Bigger powerband

Went to CFR last weekend and first pass with 27psi car bogged cause it hooked so damn hard....but went its best mph from roughly the 60ft on.

Left lane

Next pass the computer at the track fucked up and didn't record anything and my slip was blank. It spun through first and second so I made some small changes for the next pass. Noticed a coolant line was leaking so I went in town and got a new one and put it on before the next pass.

Third pass it hit ok out of the hole but then begun to spin in first and I shifted to early to second and causing it to pull the rpm down to far (shitty 330) but held a good amount of boost still went ok.

Left lane

Looking forward to next year with a few changes Ill get the car back to 120+mph in the 1/8 and I hope it will go a little quicker and faster!

May I ask what kind of specs you went with on the alignment? You can PM me if you'd like.

Track prep is garbage at CFR. Never know where to go with boost off the line cuz its a total hit or miss.

Track prep was awesome at CFR. Everybody calls it the house of hook. It sucked we couldn't get more runs in Saturday. It wasn't worth the drive for how many runs I got in.

Well I’m glad you had good luck with prep I never do. I think the owners call it that, it’s their slogan on the sign.

Good job Nate and DB! Now I wish I would have stuck around for a bit longer to see that run. You were going faster than a lot of stuff with 2 x the tire that you had.

Figure out how much your car lifts on each side then set your caster there, figure out how much your control arm bushings flex and set you toe to that, and make sure the tire pressure stays consistent otherwise the rest of the alignment won't work.

Lmao! I hope your not serious!

Here is a photo of the track, look at the white flag that's the 1/8 mile and the mist coming off the back of the tractor is not WATER! it's VHT Yup the hole 1320!

Not to mention the run a 10.5 radial series there and cars go 4's@140+mph so like the saying goes. "House of hook"

If you need more confrontation there's plenty of people that can chime in!

You have obviously never been to Rock Falls! Go there once and you will never complain about CFR again.

Re: Thanks Shane

I do not need to ask anyone, I was there the week before you. I go there at least once a month during the summer/fall and have been for years. I only still go because it’s so close. It sucks compared to other places I have been. It could be because I do not go till the evening/night events because I work days. Must have their c team working then. Also doesn’t help when it takes 3 hours for them to clean up a small oil spill so the track is cold. Sounds like it was not an issue for your event. I was just suprised when people were braging on how sticky it was.

Re: Thanks Shane

It was prepped very well. My feet were sticking to the track. They sprayed most of the track down with vht. To bad you missed out on a awesome event. Anyways...

I was glad to your car in person Nate. I always hear about how badass the car is. Car looked great and moved down the track very well.

We prep the track on non race days the same as race days so the people that need to get there car dialed in can. Only days that won't have that prep will be midnight mania.

Right from the track manager Dan Driscoll via email.

I've bee. Going to cfr for years on Friday nights and the track prep has always been good.

I'm not sure what days your going on but if you have a problem hooking maybe it's the set up on your car since everyone else says it hooks?!?!?!?

I'm curious to see what this thing does and its my last chance before I start working weekends and will be subject to crappy wed. nights at BIR.

Will this car see any street time? :uhoh:

How bout camber? Do you do something similar to what this (#5) suggests? I'm just trying to get a little bit of as grasp on how FWD's hook up without getting ur thread too off topic.

ANyways, grats on the 9's!

Sorry it was early when posted. I didn't mean to say caster. Camber is what I ment to say!

Like the link says on #5 but figure out how much your car lifts cause 4-5 inches and mine moves about a inch.
