1g Oil Cooler Relocating

Not sure where this post fits so feel free to move it to the right spot.
But anyways I'm planning to install a FMIC on my 1990 Eagle Talon TSI 5spd and from what I read it says I have to relocate the external oil cooler. I don't have the slightest clue how to do that. I've done research on this but couldn't find anything helpful. If anyone has any idea how or knows how to do it please PM me, thanks.

Would -AN SS hoses/lines work for routing the new lines from the oil cooler to the oil housing when I relocate the oil cooler to the driver fender wall?

Oh yeah? Roughly how close together would that be? Would covering the oil cooler be a problem? If its not bad then I might just do that since it'll make everything so much easier .
