Carbon Fiber On A Black Car

My friend thinks it looks bad because its a greyish color mixed with black and it doesnt "flow". I would have to agree but Im a little ricer and kinda want a carbon hood(stock style). What do you guys think of it?

Re: Carbon Fiber On A Black Car

I don't think CF looks good on black, no. But the purpose of a CF hood isn't really for looks... if you want a lighter hood and the CF one you are looking at is significantly lighter, then i'd say go for it.

I really like the way cf looks on black cars. I loved how my cf mirrors/fenders/hood/hatch looked on my black 2g

I love CF on black also, like of like ghost flames on a car. It doesn't jump out at you, but it is there.

Re: Carbon Fiber On A Black Car

The reason I ask now is because they now offer a carbon trunk for the spyder. I think that would be nice.

Re: Carbon Fiber On A Black Car

I personally don't like carbon fiber on black cars, any other color and it looks great.

Aside from the glass it's now the only shiny body panel on the car.

Re: Carbon Fiber On A Black Car

Looks like ass on a black car... why? Because you can't see it, and the color is too close so that its bleh... I do like it tho when people paint their CF stuff, but yet mask off some revealing the CF very subtly.

Re: Carbon Fiber On A Black Car

I really like carbon fiber on black. If you didn't like it you could always paint it and just keep for the weight loss, or just sell it and get most if your money back.

Only picture I have saved of carbon fiber on black, but looks pretty sweet.
