MAFT Translator....

I know the only way to vent to the atmosphere with no stalling and etc is to use a gm maft translator, right? I was looking around ebay and ran into this...http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33553... is this part of what I'll need. I'm planning on putting a maft T on my car sometime this summer and I'm just getting a list of everything I need....

Re: MAFT Translator....

you will also need the trannslator its self. it connects between the gm maf and and the mass plug on your car.

Re: MAFT Translator....

Dejontool has everything you'll need for the MAF-T blowthrough setup.
http://www.dejontool.com/Fuel.htm

- 3" GM MAF (can get 3.5" too, but not needed)
- MAF-translator (for tuning, another option other than the Apexi S-AFC)
- 3" couplers from whatever size your UICP is to fit the GM MAF
