I was never given an alarm fob when I purchased the car. I don't even think the car had an alarm in it when I owned it. The only weird electronics I noticed was on the drivers side firewall. There is a control module for the idle (cyclone intake manifold) which was installed by the guy who rebuilt the motor. I would just rip the alarm out. The guy I bought the car from told me it had always idle surged since he rebuilt it. I somehow drove it from his parents farm in Duluth back to eagan without a problem. I just adjusted the idle screw, and it always surged but never got below 700rpm, but I'm sure it either has to be a vacuum line or something to do with the intake manifold.
