The car has been sitting for about a year. A year ago, the tranny worked perfectly fine and the previous owner is impossible to get a hold of so I can't ask him what he did to it.
The cables were disconnected from the bracket on the Tranny. I put clips in and hooked them up but it wont come out of either 5th or 3rd. I tried doing this manually directly at the bracket as well. Ideas?
Either that or the clutch disk might have shattered. That happened on my brothers car before.

Motorcycle cop pulls up next to me on UNI and says "Want to race?"
Me- "I don't think you would stand a chance."
Cop says "probably not" and drives off.
Is the car running when you're trying to get it out of gear? If it's not running, did someone push the clutch pedal in while you mess with the shift linkage?
Yea Bernie we pushed in the clutch. The car isn't able to turn on because I'm not going to go flying through my garage door when i start it The clutch needs to be bled. You should come over and check it out
