FS: 1991 Eclipse GSX parts/project car
 

This is a '91 GSX Automatic that I picked up a year and a half ago intending to fix and use as a winter beater. It's now been collecting dust in my garage for too long, and I have no time to work on it between school and work. The bottom end was rebuilt last summer, King main and rod bearings and OEM replacement rings, honing done at a local machine shop. All OEM gaskets, including the MLS head gasket. All new fasterners internally. Head was refreshed at the same time. The interior is currently removed aside from the dash, but I have the entire interior for the car. The car has two 1991 EEPROM ECUs, two extra front fenders, and an extra gauge cluster.

The car doesn't run, it does crank, but the fuel pump is not turning on with either the ignition or the test plug in the engine bay. I'd keep working on it, but I'm picking up a bike next weekend and will need the garage space by springtime.

I have the car up on Craigslist for $750, but I'll let it go for $600 obo for the first person to show up and take it away. The car is located in Mankato, MN. I have one out of a '90 or '91 GSX 5spd, but it's pretty trashed. I know when we pulled it, it only had 2nd gear or 3rd gear, and there's a couple small holes in the case:shocked:

I saw a post you (2.3 Stroker) made about the trans that came with your car being all screwed up. Is it really worse then the one he is describing though?

Woah, what happened here while I was gone?

I've gotten rid of the trans already, but yea. It's good for parts only, it barely made it back to Mankato from Rochester when we drove the car back.
