southbend dxd series, full face.
less pp than 2600, same holding capacities due to friction material.
www.southbendclutch.com or stop by the office, let me know what you want, and i'll call eddy on it.

Goat Blower 04-04-2004 10:26 PM

Niterydr, how much can you get the SBC DXD series for? Thanks. Noah

Kracka 04-05-2004 12:32 AM

Has anyone local actually used on of these SBC clutches? As I was telling you today Enes, i love my CFDF for FWD.

Enes 04-06-2004 03:42 PM

Actually i just went with whats already proven to walk the crank.. act 2600

The hardest part will actually be breaking it in for another 500 miles :( omg i went thru that last fall, no boost, and i think i'll order my 50 trim right away so that i don't get the boost while i'm breaking in the clutch..

A//// Guy 04-06-2004 06:25 PM

50 trim here, 50 trim there. There everywhere! Man you guys suck. :)

TheBlizzard 04-06-2004 06:44 PM

Enes you don't have to break them in for that long, put that bitch in and drive it normally, shut it off and let it cool down and then drive it like you stole it. Who told you 500 miles? ACT?

CRAIG

Kracka 04-06-2004 10:41 PM

Bye bye tranny :)

CVD 04-06-2004 10:59 PM

2600's dont need much of a break in.

And Hughes, you cracker. 2600s dont hurt trannies in the least unless you suck at driving. Crankwalk, sure.

stfu you fucking tool
at least i can get a car out of the 14's. :whipped:
now for back on topic::
npaulseth, a few guys are going to be trying them out. I know southbend is very popular in the 3s community (we eat clutches more often than dsm's) as well as on the coasts for the dsm community.
We are not a sbc dealer, just presenting options out there. They are pretty cheap.

Kracka 04-07-2004 12:26 AM

Shall we say 70-160 again?

Enes 04-07-2004 12:33 AM

ok, Centerforce dual friction part # DF536010

or act 2600

i'm afraid i already ordered a 2600 but i could pay for it and let QPR have it as stock until next customer needs it!

Kracka 04-07-2004 12:38 AM

CFDF, awsome FWD clutch, I love mine.

how bout fair..
35-160 ;)
or standing mile race :).
back on topic...
Enes you should be okay with the 2600, nash had one on his fwd for a while and it lasted.
i think barton had the cf 2500 on his, maybe the act 2600 as well when he was fwd...neither of those walked and were capible cars of high hp for the turbo sizes.

Pushit2.0 04-07-2004 01:53 AM

enes has a 99 right? if so they have the new designed thrust bearing, if not disable then cluch sensor so you do not have to use the clutch to start the car and call it good. Or if somthing happens call it a good reason to build the motor.
