This is all I thought in my head as soon as I saw SBR's comment about selling a dozen motors a month. Why was it such a big deal to refund the guy his money if he wanted to cancel after 3 days of placing the order and you sell enough motors a month to not have this block sitting without being assembled. Obviously they aren't going to lose money if this was truly the case (it isn't).
