You never know what you'll find on a nice Sunday Afternoon cruise. I was driving down a road close to where I live and spotted the nose of a blacked out 5th Gen about to pull out of a driveway that exits from a tree line. All I could see was the front cap sticking out, so I wrapped the throttle as I was passing by. As I passed I noticed there was much more to it than just being black. The owner pulled out after I passed heading in my direction so I pulled off into an empty parking lot hoping he would stop. We talked for 30-40 minutes about El Co's and performance stuff in general. He was actually on his way to a friends shop to start pulling the engine and get it ready for a built 383cid stroker with a 671 blower on top of it. The engine is getting dynoed this week. Oh, and this is his daily driver.
