But you can not punish the masses because of a few dumb asses. Laws are already in place about child endangerment. But, Darwinism is in effect at times. You can't protect everybody from everything all the time. Can any punishmnt make up for the loss of your child? Those parents have to live with it every day until they die. I'm sure that's punishment enough, wouldn't you think?

The surviving brother has to live with what he did for the rest of his life. He was just being a kid and got the worst possible outcome for his mistake. How is that an acceptable price for "freedom"?
At some point you have to consider when one person's rights invade another person's rights. In this instance, gun rights trampled on both kids rights.
