What sucks is that water pumps are like $29 (on Internet parts sites). The problem is that I don't know how to replace one and even if I did I probably couldn't do it in some random parking lot here.
It should cost a lot less to fix an American car anyway. It ended up being $800 on the BMW for a water pump, belt, and fluids.
