^Once properly setup that's the idea! Load-based systems work, but they are error prone and thus inconsistent. The biggest saving grace on the X is that it has a low gear range and high gear range have separate base wasgtegate duty cycle (WGDC) tables, which in helps a LOT in the real world.

If it is done today then I'll get it over lunch tomorrow. I want to install the APR splitter next weekend, otherwise I don't care much.

Re: Evo X upgrades

My fueling problems continue. 20psi drop in pressure at 7k rpms. Shane is going to check the voltage to the Bosch and I suppose the inline fuel filter should be checked.

The Mitsu gods don't love me.

Geez...why do they hate you so???? Did you anger them? Are you sure you aren't running out of pump, no idea how much that one is supposed to flow.

If I wasn't so deep into this car it'd be getting parted out next week. I'll wait to hear from Shane about what voltages the pump was getting since that'll dictate where to go from here.

I may just have to live with this power level until next year. I could save over the Winter for a fuel cell and just take another step toward hard core.

Only 1 of the pumps actually does anything motor fueling wise.

I swapped fuel pump relays around multiple times with no change.

Re: Evo X upgrades

Have you replaced the stock black fuel pump relay with an updated blue one?

Re: Evo X upgrades

I had the green relays and then swapped them all for blue. Nothing is that simple for me.

Full Blown left the second in-tank pump in there but it doesn't need to be with this setup.

That's basically what I have. Dual 255's filling a surge tank and the motor being fed by the Bosch 044. The first 255 is always on, the second comes on under boost (Hobbs), and the Bosch runs off of the car's relay. The Bosch would over-run the stock fpr if it was run always-on.

Technically only one of the in-tanks should be needed to fill the surge tank but it was installed so I just left it there.

I don't have the funds to do very much right now. I have an afpr that needs a fitting or two for installation. I would be willing to try a BAP on the Bosch if that had any chance of helping.

The problem is that if the pump isn't getting fuel then making it run faster or doing the afpr won't fix it.
