Shhhhhh.... Don't tell that to the dragster that was running mid 7's on straight #2 diesel, no drugs.

Last weekend the Predator Dakota truck went 8.4's @ 161. Keating Machine's Cummins powered full size Chevy went 8.6's @ 156. Both of these are Pro Stock style tube framed trucks.

The top three Street Outlaw trucks qualifying on Saturday...Stuckey went 9.90's @ 140+, Jeff Prince went 10.33 @ 136 (he drives this truck all the time! stock suspension, 6,000lbs!), Joe Hellmann went 10.67 @ 126 (street driven regularly, 5,800lbs)...Cummins owns.

We rained out on Sunday so nobody got to turn up their trucks for the showdowns.

There's actually a tube chassis Powerstroke in the works right now. It should have ~800RWHP and weigh ~3,500lbs with driver. They're aiming for the 8 second zone. Currently the fastest 7.3 Powerstroke is a standard cab street truck that ran 11.10 @ 129. They're still trying to work the bugs out of it. The next closest 7.3 is a 4x4 pickup that runs 11.90's. Then there's a couple in the mid 12's and several in the 13's.

Those Duramax guys are starting to figure those things out. There's one running around with a stock turbo and stock injectors in the mid 10's! Expect big things from that camp within the next year.
