The above is only if you're psycho-anal. Here is what I personally do:

change oil
inflate tires to 45 psi
clean exterior and interior and treat leather and vinyl with protectant
make sure all fluids are full
remove everything from trunk and glovebox
lay dryer sheets on floormats
remove battery
cover the car
fill garage with mothballs and rat poison
