6 bolt swap- water line ?

Alright, I am basically done with a 6 bolt swap into a 95 GST, but I am missing a spot to hook up the return line for the turbo. The old one went into the side of the block, which the 6 bolt doesn't have. I did the RRE swap, so I didn't need all of the parts to swap like the magnus version. I still have all of the 7 bolt water pipe, t-stat housing, etc.

I was looking at welding another bung on the T-stat housing next to the return line from the oil cooler if I had to, but wanted to see if there was an easier option.

Thanks!

Re: 6 bolt swap- water line ?

Do you have another t-stat housing laying around? Seemed to me that when I did my swap (used a non water cooled turbo so didn't have that problem) I used a 1g t-stat housing as it had more ports/ways to plumb in sensors or fittings in case I ran a water cooled turbo or additional whatever. I am not 100% on this, just thought I would throw it out there for you to look at a 1g housing if you had one on the bench.

I do have a 1g t-stat housing around, but they are totally different. Magnus swaps them out with a bunch of other stuff so it all works together.

Re: 6 bolt swap- water line ?

I was wondering about that also. I don't know if it would cut down flow putting both of them into one hose? I would obviously do it as close to the end as much as possible.
