Re: Im Burnin it up
My car overheated due to a small leak at the lines to the throttle body. Our cars are very sensitive to small leaks.

Re: Im Burnin it up
Welcome to my world. There's a ton of things it could be
Radiator Cap
Leaky Lines
Headgasket
Air Bubbles
Low on Coolant
Fans not coming on
Radiator leaking, external fins covered in crap, clogged, not enough flow to it

Re: Im Burnin it up
Headgasket or radiator cap. Try the cap first.

Re: Im Burnin it up
Check the rubber coolant lines running to and from the turbo also. Sometimes they are swollen and will only leak under boost.

I don't know if I'm reading this wrong, but having the turbo in the loop does not affect the coolant mix. I'm talking about the ratio of coolant to water.

i just got my head back from headwerks with a full gasket kit and everything no change in my problem so im just out of ideas

Re: Im Burnin it up
Have you used any JB crap in radiator? That could cause shitty flow to internals.

Re: Im Burnin it up
Removing the Emissions shouldn't have an effect on temperature. My car doesn't have any of that crap, and the stock gauge has never gotten past the half way mark. Even with a shitty stock radiator, and a single 12" slim fan sitting in traffic on a 95* day.

Just a heads up, my car has seen over 230* and still not gone past the half way point. The stock water temp gauge sucks.
