This has been discussed a long time ago on other boards. On paper the 2.4 doesn't look nearly as good, but in real life the limits shown in the paper seem to be off. The 2.4 can rev higher than most people thought it would. I agree, if the car is going to be run on the street at all, run a 2.4. The spoolup difference is huge as is the torque off boost.
