As far as McCain being like Bush, is that only because he wants to finish the war and not just leave the Iraqis hangin? You really think its a good idea for us to just drop and leave Iraq? I do think it will take a long time for Iraq to reform and change its ways, but we need to atleast guide their new government so it doesnt fall apart again.

HA! If the CIA wasn't involved in giving millions of dollars and training to the Afghanis who have now become al qaeda to fight the soviets in the first place then none of this would have happened! Ever been stabbed in the back by a "friend"? Truth of the matter is you have to trust someone and sometimes you get screwed. At the time it was the best option available b/c we were trying to prevent the spread of communism.
