First off THANK YOU KEVIN_1G_DRUMMER for the help, you ROCK!

Yanked from car:


Prep, scrub with grey brillepad then wash with dish soap:









Hang in clean (non dusty) garage, flip on fan and open door for ventilation:




Coat #1:


Wife, not impressed yet:


But she always comes around (anna is so cool!):


Dusting between coats (did I mention kevin is awesome?):

Removing tape after red is done and color is where we want it:






Zee paint we used:


Turned oven on, pre-heated to 185, then turned it off, and stuck in tails for about 20 mins (checking every 5-10 mins):


Remove from house and open windows immediately, wifey complaining about paint!

Let them hang in the garage for a few more hours while you drink beer and install other go-fast parts on your car! Then we carefully stuck them back into the car for to see how it looks:


And the next morning:


A little wet sanding will smooth these out, but need to dry for a few more days first. This is after only about 11 hours:




Ahhh, sweet heaven. Sexual chocolate. Beautiful. Just what I wanted!

I'm pretty happy with how they came out, however once we get them wet sanded and buffed out, it'll look way nicer.
